Guys tell me all the time how they love reading the Field Reports from my kick-ass instructors, and how they can see themselves doing the same things soon.

They've been reading all the great reports on our VIP Lounge at and posting their own stories.

But we wanted everyone to get to read the real stories. So we started Field Report Friday, and started collecting reports from all our instructors to send out every week.

Well, that got the instructors a little excited, and when they get excited, they come up with great ideas.

Joe Brody, our king of banter, had a great idea a while back. See, he had a great pickup at our Charismatic Conversations seminar (I know, we were supposed to be all business, but sometimes fun mixes with work!).

Sundress. Heels. Strut in her walk. And no sunglasses at all, so when you look up, you see her looking up, and just for a second, the two of you know... something.

She's inviting you in. You have just this chance to do something, to take a chance.

A couple years ago a friend of mine told me I should get a job helping men learn how to pick-up women.  Coincidentally, I recently found that opportunity through Pickup101 as one of the females that gives feedback during their workshops.

I started helping out because I was just hoping to gain some perspective on why men try approaching women the way they do (and possibly help some women out by letting guys know what we're all sick of hearing).  I had given very little thought about the instructors or the workshops.

A few weeks ago, I went strolling into a seminar called Charismatic Conversations expecting to do my job simply by being honest about what works for me and what doesn't.  I never expected to meet someone at a seminar like this and certainly not one of the instructors who's a so called "pick-up artist."

We did a seminar called Charismatic Conversations a couple of weekends ago.  I showed up late Friday just in time to demonstrate how to banter.  I started off bantering with Sean which quickly became hostile  as it does very often with guys. The point was that you need to be cool with guys because it usually just becomes a pissing contest and makes you look like an idiot.

Then did I demo of the same thing with two of the three girls who were there for feedback and demonstrations.  One of the girls I had worked with at many workshops, but the other two were new.  The one I had worked with before was tired; I was fresh and she didn’t stand a chance.  One of the new girls saw what happened and really wanted to get a crack at it.  So, next thing I know we’re going toe to toe playing and busting on each other.  This time it wasn’t as one-sided and a little more challenging.  I think I still had her beat. We finally break from the segment and walk off to grab some water.

Now, you have to appreciate this situation. I walk in and everyone else knows me except for the new girls.  Because it was the middle of a lecture, I was never introduced and right when I walked in, I literally was pulled up to demo in front of 40 people and a camera crew.  So the new girls are thinking "who the hell is this guy who hasn’t been here for the last 8 hours and then just comes up here and whips our butts in a battle of wits."

Hey Lance,

When I meet a girl.  I have no problem talking to them.  but I'm too serious.  I can never let myself go and be the laughy fun me until I get to know someone well enough to let them in.  (true for guys as well as gals). 

Q: What kind of stuff can I talk about that will 'demonstrate value' to a woman and also keep things light, so I don't come off sounding like her college professor or serious uncle?  Please help!  :-)

If a girl loses attraction for a guy almost completely. can that attraction be raised up again within a short amount of time? is it possible for a girl who was once attracted to a guy and lost that attraction get those levels back up? and does have to be after like 4 months or something or can it just happen not too long after?

When we originally announced Charismatic Conversations, we heard a LOT of interesting stories from the  early movers' - the guys who wanted the free coaching bonuses and were the first to order.

We had a guy who LOCKED OUT his girlfriend so he be the first to order.... even though she was only trying to serve him some homemade lasagna!

The there was the guy that left an entire film crew waiting... including a panda that needed him to deliver her baby.

Not to mention the guy who left the SECRETARY OF DEFENSE on hold to grab the product early and get his bonus...

I approached her using one of the opening lines Lance had taught us that first day... and also sprinkled in the banter lines he showed us. In fact, when she asked me what I was doing at the hotel - I told her I was attending a pickup seminar.

But it didn't matter, the attraction was already there, because it wasn't long before she was making out with me right there at the table!

She even told me I wasn't kissing her hard enough... and asked me if I was uncomfortable. I told her I was a little shy to be making out with her in front of everyone like that, so she invited me up to her hotel room...
