You know, if you had told me when I was in college and came within a frogs hair of getting married (it's true), I would someday be recognized around the world as a dating expert...

I would have said you were nuts.

And the thing is, now I have to be really careful what I say when I am in front of a room full of guys at a workshop or seminar.

For example:  Last year during an Art of Attraction workshop, one of the guys asked what I thought the hardest possible pickup would be.

Now before I go on, I want you to realize what I said was meant to be a joke.  I'm telling you now, so you do NOT try this to see if it works.

With that in mind, here's what I said...

Now you know these guys thought I was going to say something like trying to get a hot girl away from six guys who look like they live in a weight lifting gym.

But frankly that's easy when you know how, and I wanted to play a joke on them so I told them the hardest possible pickup is when you are in a car driving at high speed on the highway and you spot a hottie in another car.

This is where I remind you... I was Joking!

Just kidding with them, and having a bit of fun.

But they bought it, hook, line, and sinker.

So I told them how I would do it.  Of course I was making it up on the spot, but it sounded like something that would work.

I NEVER thought in my wildest dreams someone would do it.

Well, you know the saying about reality being stranger than fiction right?

Less than two months later, one of the men in the workshop came to me and said "I did it!"

Then he proceeded to tell me about how he got a phone number and a date from a hot girl while he was zooming down the highway.

And just to be clear on this, they were not in the same car when this all happened.

He actually managed to hook up with a girl in another car!  What can I say, I was both shocked and impressed.

Now I'm not going to tell you how he did it, because I don't want a bunch of guys out on the highway trying to get dates.

There are two real lessons for you:

1. When you are considered an authority or expert, realize that people will believe your every word.

2. That when a man believes something is possible, he will make it happen.

If you believe you can attract girls, then you will make it happen, and nothing will stop you.
